King & Wood and White & Case have advised the China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group, China Development Bank and Bank of China in a two-phase investment scheme for the country’s first third-generation power plant, based in Guangdong.
King & Wood was instructed on Bank of China’s syndicated loans to Zhejiang East Coal Company and Yanzhou Coal Group.
In December, White & Case and King & Wood also facilitated the US$2.7bn JV between Sinopec and SABIC, the largest Chinese investment into Saudi Arabia last year.
