Gibson Dunn bolsters HK team with corporate partner duo

Gibson Dunn, which opened its Hong Kong office in August last year, provided clear evidence of an ambitious Asia strategy after adding two experienced lawyers to its corporate team as partners. Yi Zhang and Graham Winter are joining the firm from O’Melveny & Myers, and Reed Smith Richards Butler respectively.

Sidley Austin lures Baker & McKenzie partner in Shanghai

Sidley Austin has hired Anthony Jacobsen, previously a partner with Baker & McKenzie, as partner at its Shanghai office. His addition increases the number of lawyers at the Sidley’s Shanghai office to 13.

Australia aims to become arbitration centre in Asia-Pacific

Shanghai: SG & Co and Nan Guang complete merger

Shanghai SG & Co Lawyers has recently joined forces with Shanghai Nan Guang Lawyers. The merger will increase the number of lawyers at the new law firm to 100, making the combined firm, to be named SG & Co, one of largest law firms in Shanghai by lawyer headcounter.

Jun He launches Guangzhou office
