Zhong Lun Law Firm has recruited two new partners, and promoted 17 counsels in its five offices across the country to further reinforce its international practices and build its talent reserves.

Zhang Mingjie left Boss & Young, Attorneys at Law to take up Zhong Lun’s International Practice partnership at the latter’s Shanghai office. Zhang specialises in foreign investment law, company law, M&As, technology transfer, retail and franchising, e-commerce, labor law, international trade, and disputes resolution. He is also an arbitrator of the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC).

Wang Xianghong used to work for Zhonglun W&D Law firm before joining Zhong Lun. Her practice areas are banking and finance, bond issuance, foreign direct investment and project contracting in addition to mergers and acquisitions. She is experienced in international finance in addition to the establishment of overseas subsidiaries and joint ventures for Chinese enterprises “going abroad” to operate overseas.

In the meantime, the firm offered the title of counsels to as many as 17 experienced lawyers who are considered to be partner hopefuls at its Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Guangzhou and Wuhan offices. ALB
