北京德和衡律师事务所近日与巴西Nelson Wilians & Advogados Associados（NWAA）律师事务所签署战略合作协议。未来，德和衡将在北京设立“Brazilian Dest 巴西办公室”，NWAA则将在圣保罗设立“China Dest 中国办公室”。
根据路透社之前的报道，中国目前是巴西最大的贸易伙伴，也是规模最大的外商投资国。2018年，两国双边贸易额达到了创纪录的1千亿美元。
根据德和衡的一份新闻稿，NWAA律师事务所成立于1999年，是巴西最大的律师事务所之一，拥有1300名专业律师和29个办公室。NWAA还联合南美洲其他国家律师事务所建立了拉丁美洲法律服务联盟。NWAA未来将与德和衡全球50余家办公室合作，共同为中国企业赴巴西和南美洲投资贸易，以及巴西和南美洲企业来华投资贸易提供法律服务。
“我们希望不仅仅为企业在相关国家的业务提供服务，更希望成为巴西企业国际化进程，以及促进巴西与其他国家间贸易平衡过程中的重要参与者。”NWAA管理合伙人Marcel Daltro在与巴西法律媒体Migalhas的采访中说。
Migalhas还在报道中提及，NWAA自2015年开启了国际化进程，目前已与南美洲多国、葡萄牙及印度当地律所结成联盟。
德和衡则在美国、俄罗斯等10个国家设立有境外办公室。
DHH eyes South America opportunities, forms new alliance with Brazilian firm
Beijing DHH Law Firm has recently formed a strategic cooperation with Brazilian law firm Nelson Wilians & Advogados Associados (NWAA).
In the future, DHH will set up a "Brazilian Dest Brazil Office" in Beijing, and NWAA will set up a "China Dest China Office" in Sao Paulo to jointly assist Chinese companies to invest and trade in Brazil and South America, as well as Brazil and South America companies to invest and trade in China.
According to Reuters, China is Brazil’s biggest trading partner and largest source of foreign investment. In 2018, bilateral trade rose to a record $100 billion.
Founded in 1999, NWAA Law Firm is one of the largest law firms in Brazil with 1,300 professional lawyers and 29 offices in all capital cities of Brazil. NWAA also cooperates with law firms in other countries in South America through the All-Alianca Legal Latino-Americana.
“Our idea was never 'just' to advocate for companies in the countries involved, but to be a proactive instrument to assist the internationalization of companies and an important player in increasing Brazil's trade balance with other countries,” says NWAA’s managing partner Marcel Daltro in an interview with Brazil local media Migalhas.
According to Migalhas, the new partnership is part of the NWAA internationalization process, started in 2015. The firm has already anchored partners in countries like Portugal and India.
Meanwhile, DHH Law Firm has established overseas offices in 10 countries including the U.S. and Russia.
