Sidley Austin has appointed finance specialist Allan Wardrop as a partner in Hong Kong from Hogan Lovells.

Wardrop specialises in leveraged and acquisition and leveraged finance, mezzanine and special situation financings, direct lending by funds, property financings and debt restructurings. His advises private equity sponsors, hedge funds, asset managers and commercial and investment banks on mezzanine financings, special situation financings and investments.

Wardrop spent 15 years at Hogan Lovells. He became a partner at that firm in 2012.
