Skadden and STB leading on Chinese online audio’s planned IPO in Hong Kong
Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and CM Law Firm are advising Ximalaya, a Chinese online audio platform, on its planned IPO in Hong Kong, with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett and Tian Yuan Law Firm advising the joint sponsors.
Established in 2012, the Shanghai-headquartered Ximalaya is China’s largest online audio content platform. In May, the company kicked off its plan for a $500 million to $1 billion IPO in New York, which has now been stopped.
Maples and Calder is advising the company as their offshore lawyer, with Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and CICC acting as joint sponsors.
