Profile Description

Lubis Ganie Surowidjojo (LGS) was founded in 1985 by Mr. Timbul Thomas Lubis, Mr. Mohamed Idwan Ganie and Mr. Arief Tarunakarya Surowidjojo. Since then, it has widely recognized as one of Indonesia’s leading and most dynamic law firms and we have been one of the largest and most respected law firms in the country.

LGS mission statement and tagline: “The law on your side”. It emphasizes our Core Competence: client satisfaction and to service existing and future client needs. We always aim to provide “more with less” and “more for less” for the benefit of our clients.

Whilst most law firms focus in either commercial transactions or commercial disputes, our size allows us to maintain both transaction and dispute resolution divisions, and with political and culturally in-depth understanding of Indonesia these provide a unique perspective.

LGS is also the only Law firm in Indonesia that holds multiple ISO accreditations (ISO 9001/2015 and ISO 14001/2015), all issued by Lloyd’s Quality Assurance.

In more than 30 years of service, our mission has remained the same: serving the best interest of our clients with the highest professional standard.
