- 12月17日，山东德衡律师事务所华盛顿分所正式设立，分所未来将重点服务于山东企业和企业家，并协助美国客户办理在山东事务。其也将与2015年开设、德衡律师集团旗下的另一家德和衡律师事务所华盛顿办公室间形成协同合作；
- 12月22日，广州金鹏律师事务所茂名分所正式设立，这是金鹏继2019年7月开设中山分所后设立的第二家地级市分所。未来分所将辐射粤西地区、融入粤港澳大湾区以及广西相邻地区，并为当地企业提供法律顾问服务。分所负责人为合伙人程鹏宇律师，其执业领域主要为为企业引进投资方及设立资金引进平台、私募基金等。2019年金鹏先后设立了四个境外办事处，三家国内分所。茂名地处大湾区规划区与海南自贸区之间，是粤西地区的重要窗口，广和律师事务所也于11月底在此设立了分所。
- 12月26日，中伦律师事务所阿拉木图分所正式设立，这也是中伦第18家分支机构。未来阿拉木图分所将在中资企业在农业、化工、冶金、房地产旅游、物流和基础设施、PPP等领域的投资和经营提供法律服务。受“一带一路”倡议影响，目前共有55个中哈产能合作项目落地，总投资额达77亿美元，北京罗斯律师事务所、大成律师事务所、德恒律师事务所等也已在哈萨克斯坦设立办公室。
- 12月26日，中银律师事务所昆明分所正式设立，这是中银在国内的第27家分支机构；
Chinese law firms: A roundup of recent office openings
- Shandong based DeHeng Law Firm has opened a new office in Washington D.C. It will focus on providing legal services to Shandong based enterprises in the U.S., as well as assisting American clients on businesses related to Shandong Province. The new office will also work closely with Beijing DHH Law Firm’s Washington D.C. office, which was opened in 2015 and is another brand under the same legal group.
- Guangzhou headquartered Kingpound Law Firm has opened a new office in Maoming, Guangdong Province. It will be headed by partner Cheng Pengyu, who specializes in investment and private equity, and will provide daily legal services to local enterprises. The new office will also act as a hub for the firm’s future appearance in West Guangzhou, the Greater Bay Area and Guangxi Province. Kingpound opened four offices overseas and three ones domestically this year.
- Zhong Lun Law Firm has opened a new office in Almaty, capital of Kazakhstan, which is the firm’s eighteenth office. The new office will assist Chinese enterprises on local investment related to industries like agriculture, chemical, metallurgy, real estate, tourism, logistics, infrastructure and PPP. Influenced by the Belt and Road Initiative, Zhong Lun followed the footsteps of Beijing Rus Law Firm, Dentons, DeHeng Law Offices who already set up offices in Kazakhstan.
- Zhong Yin Law Firm has opened a new office in Kunming, capital of Yunan Province, which is the firm’s 27th branch domestically.
