史密夫斐尔律师事务所任命上海办公室合伙人刘依兰律师（Nanda Lau）为中国公司事务主管，自2021年5月1日起生效。该职位此前由香港办公室合伙人艾迈修（Matt Emsley）担任。他已升任该所中国区管理合伙人。
刘律师于2002年加入史密夫斐尔，自2005年起常驻上海，2014年晋升为合伙人，从2016年开始领导史密夫斐尔在上海办公室的业务。她在公司事务领域经验丰富，为与中国相关的跨境并购和企业交易提供法律咨询服务。刘律师曾于2019年入选“ALB China十五佳并购律师”榜单。

Herbert Smith eleveates Shanghai partner Nanda Lau as head of China corporate practice
Herbert Smith Freehills has named Shanghai partner Nanda Lau the new head of the firm’s China corporate practice, effective May 1, 2021. Lau replaces Hong Kong partner Matt Emsley, who is now managing partner of the firm’s China operations.
Lau joined Herbert Smith in 2002 and has been based in Shanghai since 2005. She was promoted to partner in 2014, and started leading the firm’s Shanghai office since 2016. With extensive experience in corporate practice, Lau has advised in a number of cross-border M&A projects and deals. In 2019, Lau was listed in ALB China Top 15 M&A Lawyers.
“Nanda is a natural choice for this role, with an admired market reputation amongst our clients and proven success in leadership within the firm,” said Asia Managing Partner May Tai.
