史密夫斐尔律师事务所近日迎来商业诉讼律师石明杰律师以合伙人身份回归。此前，石律师在其礼律师事务所担任合伙人。

石律师擅长银行业诉讼和合资企业及股东争议，在复杂的商业诉讼、企业债权回收、私人财富争议等方面拥有丰富的经验。她曾为多家银行、私募股权公司和其他金融服务提供商以及香港上市公司、全球制造商和超高净值个人提供法律咨询。石律师曾在2007年和2014年分别以顾问、高级顾问身份执业于史密夫斐尔。

HSF welcomes litigation expert back to HK

Herbert Smith Freehills has taken the commercial litigation expert Rachael Shek, the firm’s alumna, as a partner back to its Hong Kong office from Clyde & Co, where she was a partner.

Shek specialises in banking litigation and joint venture/shareholder disputes, with experience of complex commercial litigation, corporate loan recovery, and private wealth disputes. She has advised multiple banks, private equity firms and other financial services providers as well as Hong Kong listed companies, global manufacturers and ultra-high net worth individuals. Shek had practiced at HSF as an associate and senior associate respectively in 2007 and 2014.

Simon Chapman, the firm’s Asia head of dispute resolution, said in a press release: “Rachael joins the practice after two of our busiest years on record… We only expect to be busier in the coming months and years, so adding Rachael to our team will help meet growing demand.”
