Jia Yuan adds ex O’Melveny partner in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong

Jia Yuan Law Offices has recently added capital markets expert Sun Ye as a senior partner in its Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices from O’Melveny.

Sun specializes in capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, and investment funds, especially in the industries of healthcare, technology media and communications (TMT), artificial intelligence, new consumption, financial technology, education, and energy and chemical industry with deep accumulation.

This is the first batch of partner-level hires made by the firm in 2025.
