夏礼文律师事务所近日迎来建筑专家叶永耀、秦再昌律师及其团队以合伙人身份加盟香港办事处。此前，两位律师曾担任铭德律师事务所建筑、基础设施和项目团队的共同负责人。
与两位专家一并加入夏礼文的还有三位资深律师刘一帆、张浩甯、廖明德，以及两位律师梁菀棋、冯紫婷。
叶律师是建筑行业的法律专家，擅长处理大型建筑设施、发电厂、铁路和其他交通基础设施等常规建筑类项目案件，还拥有丰富的跨境类项目实践经验。
秦律师在商业争议案件的处理上成绩斐然经验丰富，尤其擅长处理复杂的商业合同纠纷以及涉及商业和住宅建筑、采矿、交通、制造和发电厂项目的大型建筑和工程纠纷。
夏礼文全球建筑业务事业部的负责人Michael Sergeant表示：“Steven和Malcolm拥有超过20年的大型仲裁和诉讼咨询经验。他们的加入对我们现有的团队而言将是一次重要的助力和提升。”

夏礼文在一份新闻稿中表示，在过去12个月中，已有六位合伙人入职该所全球建筑事业部，其中包括本月初从富而德律师事务加入的合伙人Tom Hutchinson。
目前，夏礼文香港办公室约有法律专业人士50 名，其中包括16名合伙人。去年11月，该所便吸纳了前铭德中国市场负责人韩德理，合伙人陈苾、Matthew Knox、David Suttner、Bryn Davis。
Minters HK construction co-heads join HFW
HFW has hired construction disputes experts Steven Yip and Malcolm Chin as partners in its Hong Kong office from Australian law firm MinterEllison, where they were the co-heads of the construction, infrastructure, and project team.
Joining HFW alongside Yip and Chin are MinterEllison senior associates Yvonne Lau, Charles Cheung, and Brian Liu, and associates Nicole Leung and Suki Fung.
Yip specialises in cases involving construction facilities, power plants, railroads, and other transportation infrastructure and other conventional construction projects, including cross-border projects.
Meanwhile, Chin has experience in commercial contract disputes and construction and engineering disputes involving commercial and residential construction, mining, transportation, manufacturing, and power plant projects.
“Steven and Malcolm have over 20 years of large-scale arbitration and litigation counselling experience. Their addition will be a significant boost and enhancement to our existing team,” said Michael Sergeant, head of the global construction team at HFW, in a statement.
“The addition of Steven and Malcolm's team reflects our strategy and commitment to aggressively pursue construction-related businesses in the Asia Pacific region and globally,” added Peter Murphy, managing partner of HFW Hong Kong.
HFW said that six partners have joined the firm's global construction practice in the past 12 months. The firm has approximately 50 legal professionals in Hong Kong, including 16 partners.
The departures of Chin and Yip leave Minters with 20 partners in Hong Kong.
