富而德律师事务所近日迎来破产专家周敦彦律师以合伙人身份加盟其香港办事处。此前，周律师曾在金杜律师事务所工作。

周律师被任命为富而德香港办事处清盘与破产诉讼部主管，他拥有超过十年的丰富经验，曾代表客户就公司财务困境、债务重组、清盘破产及一系列跨境商业及公司诉讼提供法律服务。

富而德合伙人兼亚洲重组及资本解决方案业务主管安鼎翔律师表示：“当前，我们客户对破产重组的法律服务需求不断增加，周律师的加入正逢其时。我相信周律师的丰富经验将进一步增强本所亚太区破产重组以及争议解决业务能力，更好满足我们客户的需求。”

随着周律师的加入，富而德香港办公室目前拥有律师73名，其中包括19位合伙人。2022年，该办事处还引入了合伙人范垂颢律师。

KWM RESTRUCTURING PRO JOINS FRESHFIELDS IN HK

Global law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer had hired Tony Chow from King & Wood Mallesons to lead the firm’s contentious insolvency practice in Hong Kong.

As a director of restructuring and insolvency at KWM, Chow has over a decade of experience advising clients on high-profile financial distress situations and bet-the-company disputes.

He advised on China Evergrande Group’s mega-restructuring of offshore liabilities exceeding $23 billion and winding up proceedings in Hong Kong. He also advised HNA Aviation as the white knight investor in its strategic investment in Hong Kong Airlines as part of a successful $6.2 billion debt restructuring of Hong Kong Airlines.

Chow’s other clients have included Jiangsu Zhongnan Construction Group, Credit Suisse, China Life, PwC, Deloitte, and Sinovac Biotech. He joined KWM as a counsel in 2022 from Latham & Watkins.

“This senior-level addition to our team comes at a time of increased client demand for advice on restructuring and insolvency matters.
