总部设立于北京的东方亿思知识产权代理有限责任公司(East IP)近日与香港知识产权公司SIPS完成合并,并迎来一支由36人组成的前中伦律师事务所知识产权团队加盟。
在香港,East IP和SIPS团队实现合并。SIPS团队包括五名合伙人,以及分布在北京、上海、广州和香港的90名专业人士和员工,其以为跨国客户提供商标申请、调查和执法服务而闻名。SIPS由Joe Simone(谢西哲)律师于2012年创立,他此前是贝克·麦坚时国际律师事务所合伙人。
在北京,由黄静文律师领导的、包括六名合伙人在内的36人团队加盟East IP,该团队曾在中伦律师事务所北京办公室工作,主要服务于客户商标申请和知识产权诉讼需求。资料显示,黄律师曾在铸成律师事务所、澳大利亚安德慎律师事务所北京办事处工作,在2012年加盟中伦并成为合伙人。
两支团队加入后,East IP目前拥有了150余人的服务团队,成员分布在北京、香港、上海、广州,提供商标、执行及诉讼服务。
East IP由高卢麟博士等人于2002年创建,专注为客户提供优质的知识产权服务。高卢麟曾在多个政府部门任职,其中包括从1987年至1998年任职中国专利局局长;1998年被任命筹划成立国家知识产权局并成为首任局长;1998年至2000年被任命为世界知识产权组织高级顾问。
IP boutique East IP welcomes 11 partners in Beijing, Hong Kong
Beijing East IP Ltd. (East IP) has recently completed a merger with the Hong Kong-based IP firm SIPS and welcomed aboard a team of 36 professionals from Zhong Lun Law Firm.
SIPS, founded in 2012 by Joe Simone, a former partner at Baker McKenzie, merged with East IP in Hong Kong. The SIPS team includes five partners, along with 90 professionals and staff spread across Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, renowned for providing trademark application, investigation, and enforcement services to multinational clients.
In Beijing, a 36-person team led by Huang Jingwen, including six partners, joined East IP. This group, previously part of Zhong Lun Law Firm's Beijing office, specializes in services related to trademark applications and IP litigation. Huang brings a rich background, having worked at Chang Tsi & Partners and the Beijing office of the Australian law firm Allens before joining Zhong Lun as a partner in 2012.
With the addition of these two teams, East IP now boasts a service team of over 150 members across Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, providing trademark, enforcement, and litigation services.
East IP was founded in 2002 by Gao Lulin, focusing on providing high-quality intellectual property services to clients. Gao has served in various government departments, including as Director of the China Patent Office from 1987 to 1998; in 1998, he was appointed to plan the establishment of the National Intellectual Property Administration and became its first Director; from 1998 to 2000, he was appointed as a senior advisor to the World Intellectual Property Organization.
