Through the recent appointment of partner Chen Le along with a team of dispute resolution experts, Llinks is focused on its litigation and arbitration practice and Taiwan trade work. Chen is an expert in ltigation and arbitration with notable expertise in Taiwan trade.

Chen left Shanghai FXJ Law Firm, where she practised for eight years and was a director for two, to join Llinks. She will lead the firm’s litigation and arbitration as well as Taiwan-related legal services team.

Aware of growing trade between China and Taiwan, Llinks believes that Taiwan-related legal services will soon become a specialised field of advice, with increasing investments in both regions prompting more interest in rights protection and investment opportunities. “Having worked with Taiwanese clients over the past six years, I will help to develop Taiwan-related legal advice at Llinks, especially for finance and venture capital projects,” said Chen.

The new partner has specific goals in her new role. “The effective integration of non-corporate and corporate teams is an aspiration for most firms and that itself comes with its own set of challenges. While there is more potential for run-ins, resource integration produces a lot of creativity for lawyers and that is always sought after. At Llinks, we hope to become a role model for such integration and creativity,” said Chen.
