Bird & Bird has hired former Taylor Wessing counsel Zhaofeng Zhou as a partner in its competition group in Beijing.

Zhou advises on merger control, antitrust compliance and training, antitrust review of commercial contracts, monopoly agreements, abuse of dominance, abuse of intellectual property rights and antitrust legislations.

Given the international nature of antitrust law, I believe that I have found a suitable place to further develop my antitrust practice," Zhou said in a statement.

Zhou was elected as the vice-chair of the Legal & Competition Working Group of European Chamber last year.
