The Shanghai office of Dentons has grown after hiring three partners and a counsel, apart from relocating a partner from Ningbo.
Glenn Robert DeSouza joins from Transfer Pricing Management Consulting. With more than a decade of experience in transfer pricing practice, research and communications, he was previously China transfer pricing leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Yuan Bin, who joins from Dentons’ Ningbo office, specialises in maritime law, international trade, logistics and insurance, international commercial arbitration, and shipping bankruptcies.
Geng Yicheng, a former partner at Shanghai Baorui Law Firm, focuses on mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, banking and finance. He previously worked with the legacy Singapore law firm Rodyk & Davidson.
Peggy Wu, who was also a partner at Baorui, has worked in-house with Ascendas China, and spent a secondment stint with Rodyk & Davidson. Her major practice areas are real estate, corporate mergers and acquisitions, commercial dispute resolution.
Wei Liuming, who joins as a counsel, previously worked for U.S. law firms Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton and Winston & Strawn in Shanghai.
