DLA Piper has bolstered its intellectual property practice with the hire of partner Horace Lam from Jones Day to head the firm’s China IP practice in Beijing.
Lam joins the firm with a team of three IP lawyers from Jones Day: counsel Stacy Yuan and associates Alicia Ma and Helen Ding.
DLA Piper has also hired IP lawyer Miya Wen from Rouse.
Lam advises clients on IP-related issues, including IP strategy, licensing, litigation and enforcement.
Prior to joining Jones day in 2011, Lam was the Beijing office managing partner at Hogan Lovells, and head of the firm’s China IP practice.
Lam and his team from Jones Day will join DLA Piper in October.
