Duan & Duan has appointed IP specialist Liu Chunquan as partner at its Shanghai headquarters.

Prior to joining the firm, Liu was a senior partner at Polaw & Shanghai Co, a maritime law firm that he helped found in 2010. Apart from being an expert in IP and e-commerce, Liu has years of experience handling legal matters related to civil aviation, commercial property, and franchising. His client list includes prominent businesses such as Tencent, Alibaba, Atlas Copco, Hangzhou Wahaha Group and Jin Jiang International. 

Duan & Duan’s China operations include offices in Beijing, Shenzhen, Kunming, Hefei, Dalian and Chengdu. Outside the mainland, the firm has offices in Hong Kong and Seattle.
