Global Law Office has appointed Christoph Koeppel as an independent foreign law consultant. The Swiss-admitted Koeppel, joins the firm from Wenfei Law where he served as the firm’s Beijing office chief representative.
 
Koeppel's main areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions (M & A), foreign direct investment, restructuring of foreign-invested enterprises, and private equity investment. He has advised on a wide array of Swiss and other foreign direct investment in China, and Chinese FDI in Switzerland.

Koeppel will link up with fellow Swiss lawyer John Liebeskind, who joined Global from arbitration outfit, Lalive, in 2008.

Global, who won the Shipping Law Firm of the Year in at the 2010 ALB China Law Awards, focuses on advising foreign and Chinese clients on inbound and outbound FDI.  ALB
