Herbert Smith Freehills has promoted China managing partner Justin D'Agostino to global head of disputes as part of its latest round of promotions in the Greater China region, which also includes two new partners and four new of counsel.

The recently promoted partners are Dominic Geiser in Hong Kong and Nanda Lau in Beijing, and the four new Hong Kong of counsel are Jun Bautista, Etelka Bogardi, Victor Ding and Richard Norridge.

"Our strategic investments in our people and practices have nurtured a deep bench of young, culturally diverse and innovative experts who have been extremely successful in seeking out and building niches practices in growth areas within Greater China," said D'Agostino in a statement.

Herbert Smith Freehills currently has 25 partners and almost 100 lawyers in Greater China.
