Ropes & Gray has welcomed back its Eric Wu as a partner in Shanghai from pharmaceutical and consumer goods giant Johnson & Johnson, where he was Asia Pacific M&A Regional Counsel and head of legal for the company’s Asia Pacific Innovation Centre.
Wu, who left Ropes as a senior associate to join Johnson & Johnson in 2015, worked with the pharmaceutical company’s global team on all deal-related legal activities in Asia pertaining to life sciences issues.
He has experience in early-and late-stage R&D, strategic collaborations, licensing, product development, M&A, and equity transactions with industry, government, and non-government organizations and universities. At Ropes, Wu is expected to expand the firm's life sciences service offerings throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
Wu started his career at Boston law firm Choate, Hall & Stewart, before joining Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Shanghai in 2008.

美国瑞格律师事务所上海办公室重新迎来吴延凯律师的加入,委任其作为生命科学业务团队的合伙人。重返瑞格之前,吴延凯律师曾任全球医疗卫生保健品及消费者护理产品巨头美国强生公司亚太并购业务的区域法律顾问以及亚太创新中心法务部主管。
2015年加入强生之前,吴延凯律师曾在瑞格律师事务所做资深律师。在强生任职期间,吴延凯律师与全球团队合作,负责处理该公司在亚洲与生命科学交易相关的所有法律事务。
此外,吴延凯律师也深度介入早期和后期研发、战略合作、许可、产品开发、并购,以及与行业、政府、非政府组织及院校间的股权交易。
吴延凯律师最早在波士顿一家律师事务所Choate, Hall & Stewart开始执业生涯,2008年转至世达国际律师事务所上海办公室任职。
