Veteran litigation lawyer Michael Vella has recently joined Jones Day's IP practice in Shanghai as partner.
Vella, with over 20 years of experience, has handled numerous high-stake commercial disputes, involving substantial intellectual property, contract and securities litigation matters, for a broad range of clients in the consumer electronics, semiconductor and biotechnology industries.
He is a member of the California Bar and admitted to practice in a range of district courts in California and Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal.
Prior to joining Jones Day, Vella was a partner in the Shanghai office of Morrison & Foerster where he headed the China litigation practice. ALB
