Maddocks has beefed up its Melbourne office’s planning & environment team by recruiting senior associate Kim Piskuric from DLA Phillips Fox. Piskuric will be advising a range of clients on a number of statutory and strategic planning matters, including local and state governments, statutory authorities and developers.
While at DLA Phillips Fox, Piskuric represented clients in relation to precinct structure planning in Melbourne's growth areas, and advised on the development contributions framework under the Planning and Environment Act 1987. She also represented clients in lengthy planning litigation.
Piskuric is currently undertaking a Master of Environment through the University of Melbourne, and is an associate general editor of the state’s Victorian Planning Reports, which reports on significant planning decisions of the Victorian Civil and Administration Tribunal. She takes up her position with Maddocks from 21 September.
