Pinsent Masons has announced the promotion of three partners in the greater China region. These partners are corporate lawyer Amanda Yao in Shanghai, project and infrastructure specialist Ellen Zhang in Beijing, and TMT expert Paul Haswell in Hong Kong.
The appointments will be effective from May.
Yao is experienced in the banking and securities industry, and has practised law for more than 10 years. She is qualified in Hong Kong and PRC law.
Zhang, meanwhile, has worked at Pinsent Masons' London, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Beijing offices over the years and has broad experience in international construction, engineering and infrastructure projects. She is dually qualified in China as well as England and Wales.
Haswell is qualified in Hong Kong and England and Wales. He specialises in technology, commercial and employment matters, advising clients on both contentious and non-contentious issues.
The firm also promoted corporate-focused William Soileau to legal director. He will be based in Shanghai.
