Ropes & Gray has promoted three lawyers to its partnership in Asia as part of its global promotion round, in which 20 lawyers have been named partners worldwide. 

The three Asia-based partners are Cori Lable in Hong Kong, and Katherine Wang and Mimi Yang in Shanghai.

Lable focuses on anti-corruption and white-collar matters in Asia, where she represents clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices and financial services.

Wang specialises in life science regulatory work in China. She assists pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device companies on their interaction with Chinese government agencies.

Yang advises clients on private securities, U.S. DOJ and SEC enforcement matters and internal investigations. She focuses particularly on multinational companies operating in China.
