PRC firm JunHe has hired Jin Xinghui as a corporate partner in its Shanghai office from U.S. disputes boutique Kobre & Kim, where he was a New York-based foreign legal consultant.
Jin specialises in foreign direct investment, M&A, business restructuring and liquidation of foreign-invested enterprises in China, as well as dispute resolution. He has experience in cross-border M&A projects, including in Korea, having worked at the country’s largest firm Kim & Chang for almost seven years in Seoul.
“The addition of Mr. Jin Xinghui will further enhance the comprehensive legal service strength of JunHe in his areas of expertise,” the firm said in a statement. “Under the current background of diversified legal service demands, this enables JunHe to provide superb and comprehensive legal services in different fields and sectors.”
The departure of Jin from Kobre & Kim comes about a month after the U.S. firm opened its Shanghai office.
