Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has expanded its Asia intellectual property practice with the hire of Scott Palmer as a partner at its Beijing office.
Previously a partner with Baker & McKenzie Beijing, Palmer advises clients on their IP portfolios, ranging from registration and licensing to litigation. He also assists multinational companies with their enforcement strategies, which include anti-counterfeiting and anti-piracy matters.
Sheppard Mullin now has 20 lawyers in Beijing and Shanghai.
