Chinese firm Zhonglun W&D has hired Beijing-based mining and energy expert Lian Jing from Mayer Brown JSM, where she was a counsel.
Lian’s expertise covers M&As, FDI, engineering construction and domestic and foreign capital markets work relating to the petroleum and mining industries. She provides clients with services including preliminary consulting, deal structuring, due diligence investigation, negotiation, bilingual drafting and operation supervision in the petroleum and mining activities.
During her 15 years in the energy sector, Lian has worked as an in-house counsel at China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), and then in private practice at Baker & McKenzie. She is also experienced in dispute resolution in the sector, having handled a number of cross border transactions.
