Davis Polk & Wardwell has advised China property developer Greenland Hong Kong Holdings on its $500 million issue of 4.375 percent notes due 2017, while Linklaters acted for joint global coordinators Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) and HSBC.
The issuance comes under Greenland’s $2 billion medium-term note programme, and the notes are supported by a keepwell deed and an equity purchase undertaking from Greenland Holding, Green Land Hong Kong’s parent company.
The Davis Polk team was led by Hong Kong-based corporate partner Paul Chow.
Conyers Dill & Pearman and AllBright Law Offices advised the property developer on Cayman Islands law and PRC law, respectively.
BOCI Asia, J.P. Morgan Securities PLC, and Morgan Stanley & Co International joined Credit Suisse and HSBC as joint bookrunners for the issuance.
