In July, 2017, BAIC BJEV finished the B round financing worth RMB 11.118 billion, which was provided with legal services by King & Wood Mallesons ("KWM") and AllBright Law Offices ("AllBright"). This is the largest financing project so far in China's new energy vehicle industry, also creating the record for capital increase of state-owned enterprises on China Beijing Equity Exchange.

KWM acted as the legal advisor to BAIC BJEV and finished the work including listing on China Beijing Equity Exchange, competitive negotiation, drafting of transaction documents, employee stock ownership plan support, investors' due diligence, delivery, etc., with two of its partners WANG Kaiding and SONG Yanyan designated to lead the legal advisors team. AllBright provided special legal service for the employee stock ownership plan to BAIC BJEV, with its partner HE Niansheng designated to lead the advisors team.
