Tian Yuan Law Firm has represented Offcn Education Technology, a private training firm with a market value of over $10 billion (70 billion RMB), on its $ 2.7 billion (18.5 billion RMB) Shenzhen initial public offering.  

Offcn provides online and offline training for applicants of China’s annual civil service, accounting, and postgraduate entrance exams, among others. 

Tian Yuan has advised many clients in private education sector on their IPOs, investment & financing, and merger & acquisition, including New Oriental Educations & Technology Group, China’s first Nasdaq IPO in private education sector; Maple Leaf Education Systems, China’s first Hong Kong IPO in private education sector, and TAL Education Group, China’s private education IPO with the highest market value so far.

Offcn, which was merged into a listed company Yaxia Automobile, is China’s first backdoor listing for Chinese private education firms on China’s A-Share market and promised a total profit of 3.88 billion RMB in the 2018-2020 period.
