Shanghai-headquartered Duan & Duan has opened a new office in New York. The office is the firm’s eighth overseas branch, and its 24th overall.
The new office, led by partner Zhu Xinyu, will focus on civil and commercial litigation, international arbitration, corporate deals and commercial transactions, real estate, and employment disputes. It currently has four partners and one assistant, providing services to Chinese companies and Chinese citizens in both China and the U.S.
Duan & Duan has expanded overseas rapidly in the last two years, setting up offices in Nagoya in Japan, Phnom Penh in Cambodia and Madrid in Spain. In May, it opened an office in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
