Hogan Lovells has advised Macquarie Capital Securities as the sole bookrunner on the sale of up to 86 million shares in the Mongolian Mining Corporation, which is held by Petrovis Resources. The transaction raised HK$660 million ($85 million).
Petrovis Resources is a petroleum importer and distributor in Mongolia, and it owns a sizeable stake in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange-listed Mongolian Mining Corporation.
Hong Kong-based partner Terence Lau led the Hogan Lovells team, with support from consultant Thomas Tarala, associate Priscilla Lee and paralegal Stella Wang.
Lau also advised Macquarie Capital Securities in November 2010 as the sole global coordinator and sponsor on the $204 million Hong Kong listing of China-based Global Dairy Holdings.
