In the story entitled "Salt named Linklaters' new Asia managing partner" posted on 18 January in the 'Breaking news' section of the ALB website, the following erroneous sentence appeared:
 
"Last year Linklaters posted a half-year loss of £591m, a 10% drop from the same period in 2008, which Davies said was due to a lack of M&A activity."
 
The sentence should have read:
 
"Linklaters' revenue for the first half-year of 2009-10 was £591m, which represents a 10% decline from the same period in 2008. Davies said this drop was due to a lack of M&A activity."
