Shenzhen-headquartered China Commercial Law Firm has opened an office in Hong Kong, and also announced plans to expand elsewhere in the Greater Bay Area.

China Commercial will open additional offices in in Macau, Zhuhai and Sanya, said Shu Gao, chief executive partner of China Commercial Law Firm and a former president of the Shenzhen Lawyers Association. “Setting up the offices in these cities will complete the firm’s strategic development in the GBA area. The network will facilitate the firm to better integrate its service among the three jurisdictions,” he said.

In Hong Kong, the firm has entered into an association with local outfit L&Y Law Office, which is subject to approval by the Law Society of Hong Kong. In Macau, China Commercial will enter into a tie-up with AI & Wong Lawyers.

China Commercial has also signed memorandum of cooperation with Hong Kong law firm Parkside Chambers for a long-lasting strategic partnership that includes establishing a young lawyers training programme. 

China Commercial has 700 lawyers with total number of people to over 1000. It had the highest operating revenue among full-service firms in Shenzhen last year. 

广东华商（香港）律师事务所成立，澳门、珠海、三亚分所正在筹备中

总部位于深圳的广东华商律师事务所香港分所近日成立，同时该所在大湾区其他重要城市也展开布局。

前深圳律师协会会长、广东华商律师事务所首席合伙人高树主任指出，“华商在澳门、珠海、三亚的分所也在筹备建设中。在湾区内布局香港、澳门、珠海等分所，标志着华商大湾区战略布局的正式落地，未来华商将进一步整合跨域法律服务资源，建立交流互通的新平台，推动粤港澳法律服务行业深度合作，助力粤港澳大湾区建设、服务'一带一路'投资和商贸合作。”

华商香港分所与香港林余律师事务所的联营协议目前正通过香港律师会的审查批准，预计不久正式建立联营关系。未来华商律所与澳门艾林芝黄志刚律师事务所也将建立联营关系。

华商律所还与香港柏承大律师事务所大中华业务工作小组签署了合作备忘录，双方将建立长效业务合作机制，培养青年律师。

华商目前拥有全员超过1000人，执业律师700人。据悉，华商作为综合类律所，去年营业收入全市第一。
