UK law firm Fieldfisher has entered the China market following a merger with the Beijing-based 12-partner firm JS Partners. As part of the merger, JS Partners will change its name to FeiShi and adopt the Fieldfisher brand.
Established in 2008, JS partners specialises in antitrust and competition, capital markets, corporate, dispute resolution, employment, inbound investment, intellectual property and outbound investment and working across sectors including TMT, retail, logistics, manufacturing, energy and infrastructure.
This is the third merger for Fieldfisher in the last six months. Last week it merged with 18-partner commercial firm Hill Hofstetter in the UK, while in June, it entered Italy through its merger with Studio Associato Servizi Professionali Integrati.
