Pinsent Masons has bolstered its Asia Pacific corporate offering, hiring three partners from KhattarWong in Singapore, as well as the ex-Shanghai office head from legacy SJ Berwin.

Perry Yuen, Kelvyn Oo and Bethia Su have joined Pinsent Masons in Singapore from KhattarWong as partners in the corporate team.

The three partners, who advise clients on M&A, joint ventures and compliance issues, are expected to be joined by four or five associates from KhattarWong.

Pinsent Masons has also hired corporate lawyer Philipp Senff in Shanghai. Previously the head of legacy SJ Berwin’s Shanghai office, Senff works closely with manufacturing and industrial clients operating in China.

“These appointments are a real statement of intent for the firm,” said Mohan Pillay, joint head of Pinsent Masons M Pillay in Singapore, in a statement. “We have had 30% turnover growth in Asia Pacific for each of the past two years and are confident about our future prospects.”
