- ALB will draw information from firm submissions, interviews, editorial resources and market suggestions to identify and rank the top firms for Intellectual Property in Asia. Interviews will be conducted only if needed. ALB将会根据报名表格、采访、编辑部的资源和市场测评来排出亚洲知识产权领域的顶尖律所。调查访问仅在需要时进行。
- The IP rankings will be separated into two tables: “Patent” and “Trademark/Copyright”. The rankings will also be divided into tiers, with the first tier identifying the strongest IP firms in each jurisdiction. 知识产权排名将会分为两个部分：“专利”和“商标/著作权”。排名将会被分成各个等级，第一级代表这个司法辖区内的最强知识产权律所。
- The rankings will cover the following jurisdictions: Mainland China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. There will be no Asia-wide table. 排名涵盖的司法辖区有：中国大陆、香港、印度、印度尼西亚、日本、马来西亚、菲律宾、新加坡、韩国、台湾、泰国和越南。但不会有亚洲整个区域的排名。
- The rankings will feature both domestic and international firms. The following jurisdictions will have separate tables for domestic firms and international firms: China, Japan and South Korea. 排名包括本地律所和国际律所。以下司法辖区将会有本地律所和国际律所两个排名：中国、日本、韩国。
- Our research does not cover Australia and New Zealand. 我们的研究不包括澳大利亚和新西兰。

- The volume, complexity and size of work undertaken 律所开展工作的数量、复杂性和规模
- Presence across Asia and in individual jurisdictions 在整个亚洲和各司法管辖区内的市场占有率
- Key personnel hires and growth of the practice group 主要人员聘用和执业团队的成长
- Key clients and new client wins 主要客户和赢得的新客户
- Firm’s visibility and profile in the region 律所在相关地区的知名度和地位
- Year-on-Year development and momentum 与去年同期相比的发展状态和发展势头
