U.S. firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati has hired patent litigation specialist Yitai Hu as a partner in its Palo Alto office from Alston & Bird. He will divide his time between the firm’s offices in Greater China and Palo Alto.

U.S. law firm Alston & Bird has opened an office in Beijing, its first in Asia, and second outside its home country.
