Event Overview
As society places increasing emphasis on intellectual property rights (IPR) and the digital economy advances swiftly, IPR cases have demonstrated new characteristics and diverse trends in China in recent years. The yearly increasing number of cases involving ownership and infringement disputes highlights enterprises' reinforced endeavors in safeguarding IPR. The cutting-edge technologies brought by the digital economy have gradually exposed unfair competition in data to the public. Going forward, the utilization of emerging technological products puts forth greater requirements for corporate IPR protection and system construction. Moreover, as pandemic restrictions eased, enterprises venturing into the global arena are faced with escalating IPR risks, with 337 Investigations and bad-faith trademark and domain registrations emerging as significant focal points for these enterprises.
Under this background, Asian Legal Business (ALB) of Thomson Reuters will host the 2023 ALB China IP Forum in Beijing on October 26. This forum will bring together legal experts from the Intellectual Property field to discuss the trends and development in Intellectual Property. This forum will link the professionals in Intellectual Property whereby legal experts will share their experiences and best practices in Intellectual Property hot topics and trends and provide in-depth insights and practical advice.

林远成，中国贸促会专利商标事务所国内专利处副处长，毕业于中国科学院上海生命科学研究院，从事知识产权服务工作超过15年，为众多国内外知名企业和科研院所提供全流程、一站式的知识产权服务，在专利保护策略制定、专利挖掘和专利布局建议、中国和海外专利申请的获权、专利无效、专利诉讼、专利稳定性分析、专利侵权风险分析、自由实施分析和专利培训等方面具备丰富的国内外知识产权实务经验。林远成先生在业内会议和期刊杂志上发表过多次演讲和多篇文章。
Yuancheng LIN is the deputy director of the domestic patent department of the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office, and has been practicing patent law with CCPIT for more than 15 years. Mr. LIN provides full process and one-stop IP service for numerous well-known domestic and foreign enterprises and research institutes, and has enriched practical experience in intellectual property both domestically and internationally, especially in patent mining, patent layout, patent drafting, patent prosecution, patent invalidation, patent search, FTO analysis, patent infringement analysis, patent training etc. Mr. Lin has presented speeches in IP conferences and published articles in IP journals.

李渤，国内商标处处长，中国贸促会专利商标事务所
李渤，中国贸促会专利商标事务所国内商标处处长，毕业于清华大学电子工程系，从事专利和商标代理工作超过20年，曾代理国内外多家知名企业的专利和商标申请和争议解决业务，具备丰富的国内外知识产权实务经验。曾参加多部法律修改意见征集，并曾多次在国内外会议发言或在培训活动中授课。
Bo Li is the director of the domestic trademark department of the CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office. Bo has filed patent and trademark applications in a large number of jurisdictions in the world, and has represented numerous clients, from private individuals to major corporations, in ex parte and inter partes proceedings at the China IP Office and courts. He is often asked to provide comments for law and regulation revisions and make speeches on the domestic and international occasions. Over twenty years, he has consequently built up enriched experience of IP practice both in China and abroad.

娄俊律师担任北京炜衡（上海）律师事务所的高级合伙人，同时拥有专利代理师以及基金从业资格，主要从事知识产权、争议解决、投融资领域的法律服务，曾成功代理了众多知识产权和民商事领域的诉讼和非诉案件，在相关领域拥有丰富的执业经验。娄俊律师目前还担任上海市律协知识产权业务委员会委员、上海市徐汇区知识产权保护协会理事等多个社会任职。
Attorney Lou Jun is currently the senior partner of W&H Law Firm Shanghai Office, as well as a patent agent and a qualified fund practitioner. With rich experience and expertise in intellectual property and commerce, he has solved numerous difficult cases for his clients. As for social functions, Attorney Lou is now the member of the Intellectual Property Business Committee of the Shanghai Lawyers Association, and the director of the Xuhui District Intellectual Property Protection Association.
