方达律师事务所近日启动税务业务，并迎来税务专家赵炎律师以合伙人身份加盟其北京办公室，并担任税务业务负责人。此前，赵律师在金杜律师事务所担任合伙人。

赵律师专注税务领域二十余年，执业领域覆盖跨境投资及并购中的税务筹划、为高净值人士提供税务规划、以及协助企业应对税务稽查或转让定价调查等。

这是方达继今年4月迎来合伙人任文霞律师并启动私人财富管理业务后的最新合伙人横向招聘和新业务启动。

Fangda adds partner in Beijing to lead its newly launched tax practice

Fangda Partners has recently hired Zhao Yan, a tax expert, as a partner leading the firm’s newly launched tax practice from King & Wood Mallesons, where he was a partner. 

Zhao has over 20 years’ experience in tax, and his practice focuses on tax issues of cross-border investment and M&A, high net value individuals’ tax planning, and assisting companies with tax audits or transfer pricing investigations.

This is Fangda’s latest partner-level lateral hire and new practice. In this April, the firm added partner Jane Ren and kicked off their practice in private wealth management.
