汉坤律师事务所近日迎来资本市场专家林邦律师以合伙人身份加盟其纽约办公室，未来他将在北京、香港和纽约三地工作。

林邦律师专注于资本市场、兼并和收购、私募股权和风险投资及其他一般公司事务，尤其在资本市场业务领域为客户提供全方位的复杂法律服务，包括美股上市、港股上市和特殊目的收购公司（SPAC）相关交易。加入汉坤之前，林律师曾任凯易国际律师事务所合伙人。

汉坤在一份新闻稿中表示，林律师的加入为事务所的资本市场业务注入了新的活力，他在美国资本市场业务领域的领先地位、专业能力和资深经验将进一步提升事务所在资本市场业务领域为客户提供全方位法律服务的能力。

这是汉坤今年引入的最新一位合伙人级别律师。

Han Kun snags Kirkland capital markets heavyweight

PRC law firm Han Kun Law Offices has recently added capital markets expert Steve Lin from Kirkland & Ellis as a partner to its New York office. In his new role, he will split his time among Beijing, Hong Kong and New York City.  

Lin focuses his practice on capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital, and other general corporate matters, especially full-service legal advice to clients in capital markets in complex legal matters, including initial public offerings and SPAC-related transactions in the United States and Hong Kong SAR.  

Prior to joining Kirkland in 2011, Lin worked as an associate at Latham & Watkins for three years.

A press release from Han Kun said that the addition of Lin will bring new strength to the firm's capital markets practice, and his expertise, leading market position and substantial experience in the U.S. capital markets will further enhance the firm's ability to provide a full range of legal services to clients in capital markets transactions.

Lin’s departure will leave Kirkland with five lawyers including one partner remaining in Beijing.
