盈科美国律师事务所近日迎来Brian Matlock以合伙人及商事诉讼业务部联席主席身份加盟其洛杉矶办公室，加盟前，其曾任Matlock法律集团资深律师、密苏里大学高校技术转移中心律师，此前则在电子制造服务公司新美亚任企业法律顾问。

Matlock的执业领域为诉讼与争议解决、专利与知识产权、公司法、证券监管，及公司重组和企业破产，主要服务于制造业、高科技/软件/互联网、能源和公用事业、医疗设备、化学和生命科学业。

盈科美国联席管理合伙人李永源表示，Matlock“今后将主要负责指导本所西海岸商事诉讼业务。盈科美国现在东西海岸都拥有强大的争议解决团队“。

盈科美国律师事务所成立于2019年11月，是盈科全球网络成员律所，专注于公司法、投资并购、区块链、商业诉讼、知识产权及娱乐法等领域，目前在纽约、洛杉矶及尔湾设有办公室。

根据ALB之前的报道，盈科原本意欲与美国世凯瑞律师事务所在美国达成联营，但此次合作最终未能成功。

YK Law hires dispute resolution expert in LA

China Yingke Law Firm’s US associate YK Law has hired Brian Matlock as partner and co-chair of the firm’s commercial litigation practice in Los Angeles. 

Matlock was previously principal attorney of Matlock Law Group, he also worked as licensing associate in University of Missouri’s technology transfer. Prior to that, he worked as in house corporate counsel for electronics manufacturer and developer Sanmina-SCI. 

Matlock practices in the areas of litigation and dispute resolution, patents and intellectual property, corporate law, securities regulation, and corporate restructuring and business bankruptcy. His clients are primarily in the manufacturing, high technology/software/Internet, energy and utilities, medical devices, chemicals and life sciences industries.

“Brian will lead our firm’s west coast commercial litigation practice. We have an even stronger dispute resolution team in either east or west coast.” Commented Henry Li, co-managing partner of YK Law.

YK Law was founded in November 2019 and is a member of Yingke Global Network. It now has three offices in New York, Los Angeles and Irvine.

According to ALB’s previous report, Yingke sought to create a joint venture with US firm CKR Law last year but finally decided to set up its own association in the US.
