盛德律师事务所近日迎来陆海波律师以合伙人身份加入其美国加州世纪城办公室。此前14年，陆律师曾执业于科律律师事务所，是该所的上海代表处联合创始人兼公司业务主管。

陆律师在私募和公开证券发行、并购、合资企业及其他战略性交易方面有着非常丰富的经验。他在执业前曾从事生命科学行业的营销和业务开发工作。

盛德在一份新闻稿中指出，不久前，曾与陆律师在科律共事的Daniel Elefant律师也加入了盛德。

Life sciences expert moves from Shanghai to Century City, joining Sidley Austin

Sidley Austin has hired James Lu as partner in its Century City, California, office. Before joining Sidley Austin, Lu was a partner at Cooley for fourteen years. He co-founded Cooley’s Shanghai office and was head of the firm’s corporate practice in Shanghai.

Lu has extensive experience advising clients on private and public securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions. Before practicing law, Lu specialized in marketing and business development positions in the life sciences and technology industry. 

Lu’s addition comes on the heels of his former Cooley colleague, Daniel Elefant, according to Sidley Austin.
