竞天公诚律师事务所近日迎来资本市场律师刘巍博士以合伙人身份加盟其香港办公室。此前，刘博士在欧华国际律师事务所担任中国区管理合伙人。

刘博士专注于资本市场，曾为众多公司和金融机构提供企业融资相关法律服务。此外，刘博士在跨境并购、外商对华直接投资、房地产及涉外争议解决等领域亦具备执业经验。刘博士是改革开放以来最早赴港工作的内地律师之一，在过去的三十年间，刘博士曾在多家国际律师事务所担任中国业务主管、管理合伙人等职务。加盟竞天公诚后，刘博士将领导包括香港合伙人马隽宁在内的律师团队。

这是竞天公诚香港办公室继今年6月迎来杜君律师以香港注册外国律师、债券资本市场业务负责人身份加盟后的又一项资本市场业务领域招聘。

Jingtian strengthens capital market team by adding partner in HK

Jingtian & Gongcheng has hired Dr. Liu Wei, a capital market lawyer, as a partner in its Hong Kong office from DLA Piper Global Law Firm, where he was the head of China Practice.

Liu has expertise in capital market, and has advised a number of companies and financial institutes on finance. Liu also has experience in cross-border M&A, FDI, real-estate, and foreign dispute resolution. Liu is one of the first PRC lawyers practicing in Hong Kong SAR. In the past three decades, Liu has worked in managing roles in a few international law firms. After joining Jingtian, Liu will lead a team including the firm’s Hong Kong partner Justin Ma.

This is Jingtian’s Hong Kong office’s another hire in capital market area following the joining of Du Jun as a registered foreign lawyer (admitted in New York) and head of debt capital markets in June.
