Norton Rose has elected 25 lawyers to its partnership worldwide, including banking and projects specialist Paul Mansouri in Abu Dhabi, dispute resolution specialist Wilson Ang in Singapore, and corporate lawyer Winnie Chan in Hong Kong.
The firm’s promotions were made across a range of practice groups including corporate, banking, dispute resolution, employment, IP, and antitrust and regulatory.
“The partner promotions reflect the international strength and diversity of our practice, which will grow again significantly in June when we combine with Fulbright & Jaworski,” said Norton Rose’s global chief executive, Peter Martyr, in a statement.
On June 3, Norton Rose will combine with U.S. law firm Fulbright & Jaworski to create a new stalwart in the legal industry under the name Norton Rose Fulbright. The new firm will have a total of some 3,800 lawyers, 1,250 partners, and 55 offices worldwide.
