近日，纽交所上市公司、特种化学品企业美国雅保公司的子公司Albemarle Lithium UK Limited顺利完成对广西天源新能源材料有限公司100%股权的收购，交易对价为约2亿美元。

锦天城律师事务所在交易中担任买方的法律顾问；国浩律师事务所长沙办公室则为卖方提供法律服务。

天源新材位于广西壮族自治区钦州港，拥有并运营一座锂转换工厂，可以生产电池级碳酸锂和氢氧化锂。交易完成后，美国雅保将进一步提升满足全球对电池级锂日益增长的需求的能力。

AllBright, Grandall on Sino-US $200 mln new energy M&A deal

New York-listed specialty chemicals company Albemarle Corporation has completed its acquisition of 100% stock of Guangxi Tianyuan New Energy Materials for approximately $200 million through its subsidiary, Albemarle Lithium UK Limited.

AllBright Law Offices advised the buyer of the deal, while Grandall Law Firm’s Changsha office advised the seller.

Located near the Port of Qinzhou in Guangxi, Tianyuan's operations include a lithium conversion plant with a designed annual conversion capacity of up to 25,000 metric tons LCE and can produce battery-grade lithium carbonate and lithium hydroxide.

The AllBright team was led by senior partner David Li, meanwhile, the Grandall team was headed by partner Xia Yidan.
