Davis Polk & Wardwell’s Hong Kong and Beijing offices have each gained a new partner following the latest round of firm-wide promotions. Corporate lawyers He Li in Beijing and Miranda So in Hong Kong join the partnership.
 
He, who joined Davis Polk in 2003, advises on corporate finance transactions, such as debt offerings, private equity investments, and M&A work. He’s previous experience includes advising Chinese SOEs Agricultural Bank of China and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China on their IPOs – both were the largest-ever IPOs at the time of listing.

So’s experience includes M&A, securities offerings, private equity transactions, joint ventures and strategic investments. So is admitted to legal practice in both Hong Kong and New York.
 
Four lawyers working in the firm’s New York office also made partner. These latest promotions take the firm wide partner headcount to 166 partners.
