• 近日，总部位于深圳的华商律师事务所正式设立昆明分所，成为华商在中国内地的第34家分支机构。
  根据华商的一篇新闻稿，华商昆明分所设立于云南自由贸易试验区昆明片区，是华商立足大西南、面向南亚东南亚的窗口，未来将深耕“一带一路”及自贸区建设、涉外、资本市场、基金金融、政府法律服务、破产重整、合规管理、社区治理、城市更新与棚改、公司营运与治理、建设工程、刑事等领域。
  根据官方平台信息，未来华商昆明分所将由徐涛律师领导。
   
• 总部位于广州的广悦律师事务所则于近日正式设立了悉尼办公室，并与澳洲陈氏律师事务所达成合作协议，这是广悦继泰国曼谷、美国洛杉矶后，设立的第三家海外办公室。
  根据广悦的新闻稿，广悦将以悉尼办公室为起点，开拓澳洲业务，服务澳洲客户，与陈氏律所共同服务于中国企业出境投资，为“走出去”的中国企业及高净值私人企业主提供服务。
  悉尼办公室目前的服务范围为企业商法、企业跨境投资和资产并购、房地产开发相关法律服务、知识产权、跨国判决执行、普通法、刑事诉讼，以及移民法相关服务。该办公室将由Jane Wu领导。

Two GBA law firms expand in Southwest China and Australia

• Shenzhen-based China Commercial Law Firm has established its Kunming office, becoming the 34th branch of the firm in Mainland China.
  Eyeing the expansion of the firm’s business in Southwest China, as well as South and Southeast Asia, the Kunming office will focus on the fields of BRI-related services, free trade zone-related services, cross-border services, capital market, fund finance, government legal services, bankruptcy & restructuring, compliance, urban renewal, construction projects, and criminal law.
  The new office will be led by partner Xu Tao.
   
• Meanwhile, Guangzhou-based Wang Jing & GH Law Firm has opened a new office in Sydney, Australia, becoming the firm’s third overseas office after Bangkok and Los Angeles.
  The new office will provide legal services to Chinese enterprises seeking to do business across Australia and high-net-worth Chinese. It currently focuses on areas of corporate and commercial, cross-border investment and asset M&A, property development, intellectual property, criminal litigation, and migration law.
  Jane Wu will act as the new office head.
